Issues after updating to kernel 6.14.9 (no networking, resolution is lowered)

Hi,

I am having issue when launching fedora 42 on kernel 6.14.9. Launching with kernel 6.14.5 and kernel 6.14.6 seem to work just fine. Basically it seems like fedora is running on iGPU after the update and probably with some driver issues. Also, no access to internet with newest kernel. Switching to different kernel in start up menu “fixes” the issue
Is anyone else having these issues?

here is my current (working) setup

i did remove “broken kernel version” and it is not an issue for me anymore. Software updater has not offered it again since i removed it couple days ago.

You didn’t mention the revision number, but see LHDB probes for similar systems (rev 1). I checked a Nobara 42 entry: no wifi driver was found. You can also check specific devices. Sometimes there are user comments that provide pointers to 3rd party modules.

thanks for the reply, but my issue was with wired connection and GPU driver issues. ’

I did mention rev number of ethernet controller (Ethernet Controller [Antigua 10G] (rev 03)).

since removing non-working kernel version and no-one else mentioned having same issue I set solution to my reply on removing bad kernel version as it fixes the issue.
