As you can tell from the title, I upgraded to Fedora 42 day one. After I got to desktop I noticed the Wi-Fi settings were gone.

I had the same problem, and I resolved it by rebuilding the kernel with the patch found here. is only a temporary fix, since this bug should already be fixed and upstream.

I got tired of trying to get it working, so I downgraded the kernel from the previous release(6.13.11) and it worked

It’s a temporary “fix” until there’s a fix in the upstream 6.14

Here’s the command for anyone who needs it:

Your journalctl output is completely different from the kernel log in the initial post. Do you have the same wifi hardware? Please show us the output (as pre-formatted text) from running lspci -v | grep -FA 8 Network.
