Integrated microphone no sound

I suspect the problem happened since I upgraded from fedora 31 to 32. Before, everything worked fine as expected. Now my integrated microphone gives no sound at all. I see the integrated mic in my sound settings tho, but it does not detect any input there either.

I could not find any sound settings in my bios, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P1 (gen 2).

And yes I have done sudo dnf upgrade and rebooted

It works now for some reason after a 3rd reboot and I really have no idea why it works now. I think I should not mark it as solved? Weird
