Include openssl in fedora

include openssl in fedora without it kde connect and gs connect does not work

OpenSSL is included in Fedora Silverblue.

WS doesn’t include it but should it be included per default if packages can require it as dependency?

dnf repoquery --alldeps --whatrequires openssl

list gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect-0:54-1.fc37.x86_64. So, openssl will be installed when you install gsconnect…

If KDE Connect doesn’t request openssl, that is a problem with KDE Connect. (run dnf repoquery --requires --resolve kde-connectto see what kde-connect requires)

Makes sense to install only packages that you need, no?

no it is not i just installed it.

yes but having that package bydefault is easier to use
