Your laptop seems to be optimus with both an integrated intel iGPU and a dedicated nvidia dGPU .
The default functioning of those systems is to use the iGPU for everything unless told to use the dGPU explicitly. This can be changed, but I suspect what you are seeing is the performance of the iGPU and not the dGPU.
If you want to be sure that you are using the nvidia GPU it can easily be done by following the instructions at
and follow the steps 8+ to set the nvidia gpu as primary so the user always sees the performance of that (usually better) gpu.
Glxgears does not test performance. It only provides a frame rate equal to the refresh rate of the display.
There are apps to test graphics but you would need to search to find them. I don’t use them myself.
