How do you change how hard you have to press down on the touchpad?

I recently installed Asahi, but one of the first things I noticed was that I had to press down harder on the touchpad than on macOS in order to move the cursor. On macOS, I only just slightly have to touch the touchpad, which makes it super comfortable to use. I haven’t been able to find a setting for this anywhere though? I understand that the touchpad is not going to be as good on Linux in general, but this feels like something that could be configured?

Edit: It’s particularly noticeable when my fingers have that texture they get after soaking them in water/washing hands

If you are using KDE or GNOME desktop environments, could you check if the “tap to click” function is enabled? Enabling it allows you to perform clicks by tapping on the touchpad surface instead of physically pressing down.

Woops I meant in order to move the cursor. Edited the post now
