How do I transfer files from a Fedora Desktop to a Samsung Galaxy Android tablet?

Hi

Sorry, more a Android question than a Fedora one.

I appreciate some basic instructions on how to transfer files from a Fedora Desktop to a Samsung Galaxy Android tablet, thru a cable.

I have:
– a Desktop machine, Fedora 39
– a Samsung Galaxy S9, Android 14 tablet (usual vendor setting without root privileges)
– a (cheap) USB 3.0 to USB Type C Cable

Tablet side, I enabled Developer Mode, and set File Transfer under the Default USB Configuration tab.

Devices are connected by the cable, but I don’t see the tablet from the pc.
Do I need to unlock the tablet?

i just plug my galaxy phone on my pc and open it in the computer file manager, don’t need the developer settings just need to set “transfer files” in the notification

Hi

I don’t see any notification.
Do you see the tablet with lsubs?
Where is it mounted?

It works now. A cable issue, I think.
Thanks Good Night
