While I didn’t disable external repos during the upgrade (I didn’t know I had to do that, does Fedora automatically disable COPRs as Ubuntu does with PPAs?), I could upgrade with no problems. I am not sure where the issues are coming from. maybe there’s something broken in my system?

This will get sorted in a bit. The -freeworld packages always lag the Fedora packages because they can only be re-built after the Fedora updates have been released.

Could you please run a sudo dnf distro-sync to see what it does? During the beta etc. periods, some updates are rejected during testing, but since the testing repos are enabled, some of us get these “bad” updates and must run a distro-sync to get the right versions later.

Did it.

I believe I enabled the testing repos for mesa-freeworld… I wonder if I messed up. This was back in Fedora 37…

F38upgrade error; System Is full of duplicate packages after update - #17 by vgaetera

Did the upgrade go through without errors? You do seem to have F37 packages on your system still.

What does this say:

$ rpm -qa | grep fc37

PS: as noted before the qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld issues is not really an issue. It’ll go away in a few days once the update has reached you.

I had a similar error with an update and bypassed it with adding --allowerasing --best to the command line.

If that fixes some of those errors but others are remaining let us know.

This doesn’t seem to work for me, all it throws is
