Has this been fixed on Fedora Magazine?
I just logged in without issues
My question is more along the lines of “Will it continue to work after May 20th?”
I am still waiting to get staging working (because the credentials weren’t working and on my end, everything looked fine (and I have no access to log of the server). Last contact I had with Fedora infra was in November 2024, with @zlopez telling he would look at it the day after. But I also closed the ticket so I guess that explain why it fall in the crack. I will reopen and not close until it get fixed and push for a correct fix (and then do it in prod).
So I worked with @zlopez and the issue is that we weren’t clear on the way we test. He gave me credentials for stg instance (with the idea of a strict separation of stg and prod), but what it seemed I had in mind was that the stg instance was accessible by people using prod credential. So of course, this didn’t work. For the record, that’s the same exact mistake I made just a month before for Fedora Magazine. I will work on getting a credentail next week if not this afternoon.
I replaced the authentication plugin, and it seems to be working (I took more time than I planned due to unforeseen and unrelated problem on my side). I tested with my account and I can connect.
As usual, if anything is broken, do not hesitate to ping me (but I am out for vacation at the end of the week, so I may respond later)
It seems to take a little longer than normal, but it let me in, so it seems to be working.
Thank you Michael!
Possible related issue? The Magazine editors are not able to log in to WordPress using FAS accounts. We are seeing:
Error (invalid-iss): Token issuer does not match expected issuer.
Login with OpenID connect
I got the same message
With luck, I believe I’ve opened a ticket on this. (I’m new at Forge)
