Google Drive and Email integration error

Just installed Fedora 43 KDE RC 1.6 from 10/23/2025.

I can’t seem to get Integration with Google drive working. Doing some internet exploration seems to show that this is a common error, and not very new. I just thought I’d check to see if this is a bug others are seeing. It MAY have to do with Google authentication ( Reddit - The heart of the internet ), but I’m not a strong enough user to be sure. In any case, Fedora 43 RC1.6 lists in System Settings > Online Accounts > Google (sync calendars, contacts, and task and upload videos to YouTube in supported apps). However, no Google Drive integration seems to be in the file manager and no email integration happens with KDE email and calendar clients.

Maybe what I lack is the correct documentation, but I can’t find that either.

Google Drive integration doesn’t currently work in KDE Plasma:

The KDE devs there say:

Google blocked us from using this back in June because we weren’t able
justify our API usage to their satisfaction.

Well shoot! Should adding Google as an online account be removed? Or a caution added saying “this don’t work right now” or something that eloquent?

I’m such a newbie. It works so well on Bazzite Gnome, it just never struck me it would be so difficult on Fedora KDE workstation.

And thank you for such a quick reply.
