Is it only me or…yesterday when i booted fedora 38, gnome software badged 5 updates…ok i clicked update(passed) and then a problem occured…when it starts to install those updates it just stuck on it, like in loop…indicator says in progress but it stays that way…i tried to refresh…same thing, basically it just wont install those 5 updates…i reported it but no solution so far…does it need some push by terminal so it can continue to work…i really dont know what to do…
Restart the machine, and try an update from the terminal: sudo dnf update
followed by flatpak update
. In case of errors, these will appear in the terminal, and you also will see whether the issue is with dnf packages or with flatpak, and more detail. If, on the other hand, these commands proceed without issue, your problem may be solved.
sudo flatpak repair
…
sudo flatpak update
Commadns proceeded without issue, and after restart it says software up to date…no more pending downloads…i entered flatpak repair also…thank you guys you are a life saver…if you only were nearby ill buy you a good homemade barbecue:D you deserve it!
