[GNOME] Keyboard backlight

I remember that with arch and asahi-edge, keyboard backlight was enabled. Did i missed something like a command or extension or similar?

EDIT: i’ve found command that works on gnome from terminal

gdbus call --session --dest org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Power --object-path /org/gnome/SettingsDaemon/Power --method org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Power.Keyboard.StepUp

gdbus call --session --dest org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Power --object-path /org/gnome/SettingsDaemon/Power --method org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.Power.Keyboard.StepDown

Yup, this is one of the reasons why KDE is the flagship and not Gnome :-).

I hear they finally fixed this very recently and there’s now some way to control the backlight (for a future release), but for a very long time, there wasn’t on machines without dedicated keyboard keys on Gnome.

This problem was tracked by the SIG. GNOME has resolved the issue for the upcoming GNOME 45 release coming with Fedora Linux 39. When Fedora Asahi Remix rebases to F39, this should be resolved.
