Hi,
I prefer gnome boxes, you can vm up and running with very little config. In fact popular distros are preconfigured.
Thanks Tom.
Actually, GNOME Boxes and Virtual Machine Manager are just libvirt frontends.
This means the same performance and only difference in functionality and personal preference.
You can even use both to manage already configured VMs.
As @vgaetera points out, they are both front-ends for the same technology.
gnome boxes is an ultra-simplified tool that offers almost no options and does just about everything for you. I can’t imagine an easier to use VM solution.
virt-manager is the complete opposite. It gives you the power to configure the VM with a high degree of flexibility but is more complicated as a result.
