Gnome boxes missing shared clipboard option in Silverblue 33

I have installed gnome boxes through rpm-ostree as a layered package. It works fine. However the share clipboard option does not appear at all. I have installed spice-vdagent as suggested but still no luck. The guest OS is Ubuntu server 20.10
