I have my screen set to 150% scale, whenever I go fullscreen on a program a second, slightly smaller (roughly the size of the 100% scale mouse) appears on the top left of the screen, it always matches the shape and hidden/unhidden status of the actual cursor. it disappears when I exit fullscreen or swap to 100% scaling. how do I fix this issue? I am using fedora 41 and KDE plasma 6.3.3 on an AMD framework laptop
Same issue here, with Radeon 780m integrated graphics. However it seems to only appear on the integrated display, not on an external monitor.
I am on Silverblue 41.20250316.0, so apparently a GNOME issue as well…
I just noticed this as well while running a fullscreen windows virtualbox vm on my Framework AMD laptop with the 780M GPU. Laptop is running Fedora Workstation 41 (gnome) 6.13.6 kernel with all updates as of today. I am also using a fractional scaling of 150%. System information:

Just rebased to silverblue 42 beta, and it still happens there. I can reliably trigger it when putting firefox into fullscreen-mode, then switching in GNOME to another workspace and then switching back again - and the cursor appears (But only when using 150% scaling). Does anyone have any idea on either how to debug this to file a bug or an idea for a fix whatsoever?
I am not sure my problem is the same, but seems like it. I sometimes get a small version of the mouse curser, and sometimes other artifacts. I just now had a guest VM in fullscreen mode and all of the icons on the gnome dock were pixelated with random colors.
I am not quite sure how to troubleshoot either, but I do have a couple mesa libraries from rpmfusion that I will revert back to the standard fedora ones. If that does not resolve. I will probably revert to the 24.x.x version of mesa and test. If I had to guess, I am betting it is an issue with mesa, but I am not sure. I probably poke around on the mesa issue tracker and see if someone has reported anything similar.
Looks like this may be related to mesa issue #12809.
