First launch of any application is slow after each boot on Fedora 37 to 39

Kernel: 6.6.9-200.fc39.x86_64
Packages: 2439 (rpm), 58 (flatpak)
OS: Fedora Linux 39 (Workstation Edition) x86_64
DE: GNOME 45.2
Memory: 3061MiB / 23971MiB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
CPU: Intel i7-4770 (8) @ 3.900GHz

I have been having this issue for past three or more versions of fedora. I do not have this issue on windows. And of course once in a while browser feels leggier than usual. This does not happen with live boot though. But as soon as install is done, and i do a restart this starts to happen.

I use Linux as hobby OS in general due to obvious reason lack of application support, however i enjoy tinkering with Linux. I just couldn’t figure out how to sort this issue out,

Terminal opens super fast though, issue is mainly with browsers. Firefox still opens faster than google chrome. I am using RPM, flatpack is more slower.

Thanks.

What applications are you wanting support for?

How long does it take firefox to open for you?
In a VM it takes a ~4secs to start for me first time.
I quit it start is again and its a count of ~2secs.

That is not surprising as the first time all files needed for firefox to run are read from disk and then the 2nd time the files are cached in memory so it is faster.

It is difficult to provide meaningful advice without knowing details about your system.

Please provide the output of inxi -Fzxx so we may see more details about the hardware.

Are you logging in using wayland or xorg?
Have you installed the nvidia drivers for your gpu?

The memory and CPU seem adequate for the OS but drivers, storage, network, are unknowns.
