Firefox cursor accuracy problems?

I’m using Firefox 138 (firefox-138.0.3-1.fc41.x86_64) under Fedora 41 and it feels like I am having accuracy problems with the cursor.

It seems to be most problematic when I’m navigating through my inbox in the GMail web interface, where the tip of my cursor is pointing at an email to be selected, but the email directly below is actually selected on click.

You might get a sense for what I am saying in the image below:

You can see the the tip of the cursor on the email titled uncrustify licesne correction, but when I clicked the mouse, the email about gettext was selected.

I don’t seem to have the problem (or notice it, at least) outside of Firefox.

Anyone else experiencing this or have ideas on how to debug whats going on?

What graphics hardware do you have?

I found that using nVidia without the proprietary drivers (i.e. with nouveau) could give some mouse cursor glitches like this.

This is on a Lenovo Thinkpad T14s with an Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics chip.
