Hi,
when I use Fedora 42 Workstation as Live-Image from USB-Stick I connect to my WiFi-Network and install LocalSend via Gnome-Software from Flathub. I can transfer files from my phone via LocalSend and everything works fine and as it should.
I installed Fedora 42 on my SSD and everything works except the file transfer via LocalSend or GSconnect. In LocalSend the both devices (android smartphone and Linux-PC) could not find each other. Just for a short moment after I restart the LocalSend-Server manually it sees the other device, but could not send files as connection could not be established. If I press the refresh button in LocalSend the other device disappears and will not be found again. Similar problems with GSconnect and KDE connect on the phone.
I tried disabling the fedora firewall and also SELinux and tried also the AppImage of LocalSend, but nothing helps. When I boot the USB-LiveImage, everything works fine.
So there must be a difference between the LiveImage and the Installation. Maybe one of the updates after installation causes this, but I can’t figure it out what is responsible for that.
