Fedora Silverblue Asahi Remix

Hey, I was wondering if there are any plans in creating an atomic / immutable variant of the Asahi Remix.

Coming from Silverblue originally, I would really love to run an atomic desktop again.

If there are no intentions on creating such a Spin, can someone perhaps guide me on where to find the modifications Asahi applies to the mainline Fedora Workstation image, so I can try to adopt them to the mainline Silverblue image somehow? ^^

PS: I know that there is an ongoing effort in the NixOS community, but sadly Nix as an OS just doesn’t suite me, currently.

Kind regards and thank you in advance,

Jan

The ublue community has shown some interest in the past.

Silverblue will start to make a lot of sense when we get some of the system security features implemented (which will tie in nicely with the immutability), so it’s definitely in the cards. But I think it’s more of a “next year” kind of deal, since we’re focusing on more core hardware support first.

With KDE the default; like the currently shipped variant.
