Fedora runs 6-8x slower than on windows

Geekbench for Fedora Workstation with Gnome: LENOVO 21FECTO1WW - Geekbench
Geekbench for Windows: LENOVO 21FECTO1WW - Geekbench

Fedora tests were done on performance mode with no other applications open. I believe Windows was on balanced but I can’t recall.

This also isn’t just limited to Geekbench, notice that the Fedora install is stuttering at times and g++ takes 2-3x longer to compile a small c++ file than my older, less powerful, laptop.

If a small c++ file doesn’t compile in the blink of an eye, then your system has some sort of problem for sure.

And of course when I go to check this, the issue is suddenly fixed. Will run some more tests but it seems fine for now
