Fedora-prime error

Hello all,

After a new Fedora installation I installed Fedora-prime following this :
https://doc.fedorafr.org/wiki/Carte_graphique_NVIDIA_:_installation_des_pilotes_propriétaires#FedoraPrime
which redirected me to this : GitHub - bosim/FedoraPrime: This package provide similar functionality to nvidia-prime for Ubuntu, just for fedora, provide a shell script that will change to NVIDIA GPU and vice versa for Intel GPU

I followed the steps and when i enter : sudo fedora-prime-select nvidia , I got this message :
sed: -e expression #1, char 10: unterminated `s’ command

Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @bluesubaru . Welcome to the forum. Please take a minute to go through the introductory posts in the #start-here category if you’ve not had a chance to do that yet.

I think it’ll be best to file an issue on GitHub for FedoraPrime. Their README says: " Supported operating systems: Fedora 22 , Fedora 23 .", for example, so it’s possible it does not support the current Fedora releases (Fedora 32/33).

The docs here cover how to use Optimus based hardware using the RPM Fusion drivers:

Also, I cannot access https://doc.fedorafr.org/wiki/. It appears to be down: Doc.fedorafr.org down? Current problems and status.

When/How did you access this? I’ll note that this is not part of the community documentation, which can be found at docs.fedoraproject.org.

Thank you for your answer,

I cannot access the link now but it was working this morning.

Anyway I think i’ll stick to the doc on Optimus using RPM Fusion drivers and hope i will be more successful with this one

Thank you for the help !
Ho and I’ll go through the introductory post
