@steppybug

Someone in infra/rel-eng tells me, and I quote, “argh”. I assume that means we’ll get it fixed shortly. Note that individual packages (and the bootloader, with secure boot) are signed.

Thanks Fedora Devs and all volunteers!

Upgraded via Gnome Software and it was flawless! Perfecto guys, thank you!

Using it since beta and F41 is working extremely well! Great release and thank you everyone involved!

An excellent release. A lot of polish in Silverblue.

Thank you Guys!! :tada::tada::tada:

The correctly signed checksum files are on the master mirrors now.
They should sync out to others soon.

Sorry for the trouble. ;(

My first upgrade and I didn’t find the answer: I am using a Fedora 40 KDE spin, will it automatically upgrade to a 41 KDE spin or do we have to do something else to select the correct spin?

You will still be using the spin after the upgrade. My understanding is that spins are just preconfigurations and after the install, you’re just running Fedora Workstation.

One more fantastic free release bundled with all freely available software, thanks.

Yes, it just worked without any issue, thank you

Welcome to Fedora @tristan957

A spin is a basic fedora installation with another desktop than Gnome. The Workstation is caled an Edition and comes with a Gnome destop installed.

A Spin keeps a spin even if you upgrade it.
