Fedora Kinoite automatic update interval

is there a way to change Kinoite automatic update interval on boot and then example every two hours or so? it is now scanned like every 30 seconds updates

What do you mean by “scanned every 30 seconds”?

Discovery and ostree --check update is running every 30 seconds on background after enabling automatic updates

I agree that the discover integration often behaves strangely, which can give that impression.

I think this is because it does a scan every time discover is launched.

Needing to have a GUI app in the background (okay, maybe only parts of it) feels like bloat. And my system for example certainly is not very light on RAM.

It is not only discovery even i am using terminal i get so many times ostree is working you can cancel it…

So there is something on background maybe check updates interval timer on automatic updates

I would prefer automatic updates on boot and then every 2H example or just on boot

Well seems like now the discovery cant dowbload apps since update checker cones every 30 seconds and app downloads stay on 0%, but when i close discovery all flatpak apps starts to downloading, but when discovery keeps checking updates every 30s all app downloads keep looping and never finishes.

Automatic updates not enabled

This happening latest beta kinoite with kde plasma 6.2 beta

it is working now tho it takes long time and wont show progress
