Hi guys, can anyone help me? I,ve installed Fedora 37 recently and the system it’s freezing when I install some program in the software application
My laptop config:
Dell
16 GB ram crucial
500 GB ssd Samsung
I5 7th generation Processor
AMD Radeon R7 M445 graphic card
kernel: 6.0.16-300.fc37.x86_64
I don’t now why this is happening
Are you possibly using samba/cifs for some purpose? If so then you might consider using an older kernel and look at https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/6-0-17-update-then-hang-on-login/59156/6
I can try downgrade the kernel,
but I didn’t create any configuration for samba/cifs, there are something using that technologies by default in fedora 37?
I downgraded the kernel to 6.0.15-300.fc37.x86_64 and now seems working fine.
Thanks a lot!
