Fedora broken after update

Hello everybody,
I’m facing an annoying issue…
So I updated Fedora yesterday and after the updates I lost my desktop settings (dash to panel, etc.).
Also whenever I try to launch an app it takes some times (a minute or two) from the launcher.
But some never launch at all, like the extensions app isn’t launching anymore but most importantly it seems I lost many personal things like for example, I was using Brave Browser, and it seems everything related to my profile are gone, the most important one being all my saved passwords…

I’m very upset as it’s not my personal “toy” machine but my working machine and this will cause me trouble…

Does anyone know how I can recover from this?

How did you update and what packages were updated?

sudo dnf history list last

sudo dnf history info last

A good idea usually to first disable all Gnome extensions since sometimes they break stuff. Disable them all, then enable one-by-one.

How was Brave Browser installed? Flatpak?

I’m not able to log into accounts from my computer (unless I reset the password for all the services…)
I remember there was some kind of tool for sending logs and copy pasting…
I’ll try to find it and post here…
But I just updated through the Software app…
Regarding Brave, I’m not sure, but when I look into the Software it says “Install” so maybe I installed it from the website (unfortunately I don’t remember)…

Okay I just copy/pasted into pastebin

I don’t know if this can help, but it seems something was messed up within my home folder as I think, things like profiles or Gnome extensions are located in the home folder, right?

I’m going to try to boot into the btrfs snapshot before the update but I guess since it’s the root folder this will not retrieve my Gnome settings and my Browser profiles…

Please have a look if gnome renamed your old user, with:

cat /etc/passwd |grep :/bin/bash

I saw this allready happen here once.
