Fedora 43 Beta Cosmic Live ISO not booting in Virt-Manager VM

I’ve got a Universal Blue Bluefin x86_64 workstation and I’m trying to build a Fedora 43 COSMIC virtual machine in Virtual Machine Manager. I took the default (4 GB RAM and 2 cores), but pushed the disk up to 50 GB from the default of 20.

The boot process starts, but it’s going into some kind of loop and the desktop never shows. Here’s a screenshot:

welp, that sure looks like it’s broken. Can you file a bug against cosmic-session? Thanks!

As far as I know, COSMIC requires GPU acceleration to be enabled to work - is it possible that this is the problem here?

It’s not COSMIC, it’s virt-manager. I had the display set to virtio. That apparently doesn’t work with current live media. It works fine with the display set to QXL or Bochs.

I haven’t used virt-manager in a long time; distrobox/ podman have pretty much replaced it.
