Fedora 42 "kernel panic" after updates

Hi guys Thank you for reading this:

I have Fedora 42 running on a old laptop (Lenovo T440) and everytimes I update the system and reboot there is a screen what says:

Kernel Panic! Please reboot your system!

But after a reboot it is still like that! The soulutions i found are:

  • no more updates
  • or boot to an older Kernel

But I found this command in the internet: sudo dracut -f --regenerate-all this command is working well, but I´m searching for another way to fix the problem one time and it´s working for a long time! By the way this problem I had the first time a year before or one an half when I had Fedora Workstation 39 installed I think! But could have been a little longer ago.

Thanks for reading everyone! Please tell me if there is a way to fix the problem permanently

Thanks
