Fedora 40: Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected

Hi there,

Since upgrading to fedora 40 with gnome, my gnome-tweaks has stopped working.

When I go to the gnome tweaks website i get the error:

Although GNOME Shell integration extension is running, native host connector is not detected.

Now when I check my error log I see tat gnome-tweaks has crashed:
https://ibb.co/vdcXV9C

Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this?

I tried reinstalling gnome tweaks but that did not resolve the issue.

I’ve also checked systemctl but that did not give any useful results:

systemctl list-unit-files | grep -i 'gnome\|tweaks'~ var-lib-snapd-snap-gnome\x2d3\x2d28\x2d1804-161.mount enabled disabled var-lib-snapd-snap-gnome\x2d3\x2d28\x2d1804-198.mount enabled disabled gnome-headless-session@.service static - gnome-remote-desktop.service disabled disabled sudo systemctl status gnome-headless-session@.service Failed to get properties: Unit name gnome-headless-session@.service is neither a valid invocation ID nor unit name.

Thank you in advance!

Ps: yes, next time I will just use kde. I just don’t want to spend the time to make kde look like gnome…

Removed kde

yes what about it ? I see that its disabled but i never disabled it…
