Does anybody know how well the Fedora audio-production group works under Gnome/Wayland (Interface, presentation layer ect.) or in other words is Fedora Workstation able to be an Audio-workstation without any quirks? Thank you.
I don’t know how well the audio-production group works since I have never tried it, but I can tell you that some codecs will be missing from the default install. H264, mp3, and others are not part of fedora and need to be loaded from other repos. I got what I needed from rpmfusion and fedora-cisco-openh264. ffmpeg, lame, some gstreamer plugins, open264, etc.
Thank you for your tipp. I will try to ask the maintainer if he would know what’s about my question.
