I selected automated partitions on F43 fedora workspace. It gave me a 1GB boot partition.
The boot partition can hold a whooping 3 kernels, and I’ve already had to manually remove some from upgrades just within the last 1-2 days.
So… Someone may want to change that default boot partition size (yes I know, I should have checked. It’s still a very bad default size)
It is because the initramfs file size has recently ballooned.
It is a known issue and will be addressed by lowering the size again or expanding the default partition size.
Can someone provide a link or some background information? I am asking because I just installed F42 and I won’t be able to resize /boot anytime soon. I’d have to rearrange all partitions, which I don’t want to.
why?
