F36 install fails - grub-core/kern/mm.c:376: out of memory

Hello all,
I have been trying to install F36 on an HP laptop booting from a USB stick. After I select the medium in the boot menu and then choose “start fedora-workstation live 36” I get the following error and the process stops:

“error: …/…/grub-core/kern/mm.c:376:out of memory.
Press any key to continue…”

The laptop is an HP EliteBook with 32GB memory.
I tried to create the image both with fedora media writer and by the disk image writer, both leading to the same error.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ebi

Trying the above using F35 went OK. So I installed that and planning to upgrade to F36.
