After recent hardware problems, I am up on new hardware and new install of Fedora 44 KDE. Everylthing seems to be working at least for the applications I have installed at this time. However, I still need to be able to migrate from evolution to thunderbird. I have installed thunderbird and migrated my gmail account into it, fine! Now I need to be able to find my evolution emails and contacts and figure out how to import those into thunderbird. I have googled about how to do this but everything I find doesn’t pan out. At least to my understanding. I have approximately 20 years worth of mails in evolution but evolution doesn’t seem to behave consistently with my F43 KDE install (maybe it was related to my hardware problems, I don’t know). In any case my decision is to go with thunderbird for all my email needs. I have never needed to interact with any Microsoft Outlook accounts so I don’t need that part of evolution.
Can anyone tell me a proven path to follow to migrate my old evolution folders and contacts from my F43 KDE install to my new F44 KDE.
Thanks in advance!!
