Is it possible to disable the symbols that appears when we mute/unmute the microphone?
This is especially inconvenient during meetings/ screen sharing sessions.
There is probably a way to disable visual notification for Gnome Shell, although I can’t think of any at the moment.
However, you could login graphical environment with another supported Desktop Manager like Awesome (xorg), or Sway (wayland) and others too – just for the meetings. Crude perhaps?
