In previous Fedora (MATE) versions, the volume level on boot defaulted to whatever the volume was at the time of the preceding shutdown/reboot. Since Fedora 33, the volume is set to 66% on each boot. That may have been the volume at the time of rebooting to upgrade to F33. How can the old behavior be restored?
