Davinci Resolve "Unsupported GPU processing mode" error

So I went through a bunch of hurdles to install davinci resolve using the davinci-helper, now it opens with an error saying “unsupported gpu processing mode”. When I open configuration and navigate to the GPU settings the GPU processing mode and GPU choice come up empty.

My GPU is a rtx 2060, I am running nvidia proprietary drivers, all installed and up to date. Driver checker on the davinci helper also says everything should be fine.

If you are on gnome then right click and press launch with gpu.

I’m on cosmic. I only have the 1 gpu though.
