Cursor draws screen artifacts sometimes

Hi all,

I’m not sure if this is a known bug already, but some applications seem to intermediately draw random lines upon cursor movements.

I’ve noticed the especially on Chromium for some web applications with a lot of JS (not so much for static pages) and on gimp when using certain tools.

I’ve captured a video of it and uploaded it https://mrman.de/cursor_artifacts.mp4 since I can’t attach videos to this topic.

I’m running vanilla Fedora Linux Asahi Remix 39 on a M2 Air.

Is this known and something that will be fixed eventually (some sort of Wayland migration pain) or something that shouldn’t happen?

If this is KDE, it’s probably a known bug that is fixed in Plasma 6 as far as I know.

Fantastic, that’s what I was hoping for.
Will wait until Plasma 6 arrives for Asahi and raise it again if it persists.

Thanks for all your hard work on this @marcan !
