After upgrading to fc35 chromium-browser-privacy from the rpmfusion repo doesn’t work anymore. It still was visible in dnfdragora as a fc34 package but after removing it from there to attempt a reinstall it was no longer available in dnfdragora. The rpmfusion repos free and nonfree are still activated, but no chromium-browser-privacy available in fc35. Rpmfusion says it should be, but it is not: https://admin.rpmfusion.org/pkgdb/package/free/chromium-browser-privacy/
After searching Eleston Github found this:
and enabled the OBS (Fedora 34) repo. Now it is back, but no longer under the name Chromium CBP but as “ungoogled-chromium”.
What happened to chromium-browser-privacy? Why is the package gone in Fedora 35?
It seems to be maintained by the same developers as chromium-freeworld.
Probably there’s not enough resources/maintainers to keep updating both packages.
