Chinese and Japanese fonts are weird on Fedora 36

On Fedora 36, fonts for Simplified/Traditional Chinese and Japanese are bugged out and weird, unless if your computer is on a CJK language.
I think it may be because I have every single Windows 10 font that I could get and WQY-Zenhei.

On Steam, it’s extremely garbled.

And on websites using the system fallback font, it is very pixelated (cant show because I registered literally just 15 minutes ago)

And as I stated before, if your computer is in a CJK language, none of this happens and correct fonts are applied (even if your main font is a Latin/Cryllic only font…?)

As per usual, system specs (which isnt important but may be needed, altho same thing happens with my macbook with all windows fonts installed on Fedora 36)

OS: Fedora Linux 36 (Workstation Edition)
KERNEL: 5.17.5-300.fc36.x86_64
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770S @ 3.10GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
GPU DRIVER: NVIDIA 510.68.02
RAM: 16 GB

Anyone know how to fix this?

And, the Japanese site using the system fallback font

compared to how it looks when I have a CJK language enabled (in this case, Japanese.)

and likewise, steam isn’t garbled.

Figured it out, it was the Windows fonts giving the Japanese fonts a big problem.

And on the flatpak version of steam, it’s garbled no matter what language or locale your computer is set to.
