Ceph storage platform

I’m looking for solutions to manage object and block storage in one platform. Ceph looks like a worthy solution.

Does anyone have use cases and a quick configuration guide on Ceph, managing various storage requirements? Does Ceph daemon come as default for the Fedora server?

My question may have been too broad.

I researched a bit where Ceph is used in OpenStack cloud providers. I would only have to use Ceph storage deployed in a public cloud.
