Hi, I am currently trying to build a VM using packer and vmware 13 on an M1 MacBook. Unfortunately, even simply starting the installation immediately results in a kernel panic (Kernel panic- not syncing). Also mentions “EFI loader partition unknown, exiting”.
When starting the VM in VMWare without packer, this works fine. Does anyone have an idea what may be the solution here?
Also, we’ve had a similar setup working with the 20220310 dvd1 iso, but that seems to be unavailable at the moment. Any idea where to find it?
