Cannot start Fedora after interrupted system updating

I am currently using a Fedora 27 desktop, and I was trying to update it to Fedora 29 today. During the updating, I turned off my machine accidentally, and now I could not start my machine. I got this screen, and I am not sure

what to do.

Try booting into rescue mode, then run:

  • systemctl start NetworkManager to make sure the network is up.
  • dnf remove duplicates
  • dnf distro-sync

Then try rebooting again.

If you can’t even get into rescue mode, or dnf is broken, you might be a bit stuck…

I tried this but still got stuck, I just installed Fedora 29 from scratch.

Whelp, at least you got it working I guess?
