Cannot put laptop into sleep mode after kernel 6.6.2 update

I can no longer put my laptop in ‘sleep mode’ after the recent kernel update (from 6.5.12-300.fc39.x86_64 to 6.6.2-201.fc39.x86_64).
When I press [fn]+[F3] the screen turns black, the fan stops, the hard drive continues to spin and the keyboard is no longer responsive.
I have to (long time) press the power button to turn off the computer.
The sleep mode is fully functional when I reboot with the previous kernel (6.5.12-300.fc39.x86_64)
