What desktop are you on?
Is there a slider / setting that is not working?
I use light
from the terminal to control brightness on my laptops.
sudo dnf install light
man light
To increase brightness
light -A 10
To decrease brightness
light -U 10
I use Gnome with Wayland. There is a slider, but it doesn’t work.
