I am running Fedora 37 Workstation with Gnome 43.3 and kernel 6.1.14 on my laptop, and I have noticed that the battery percentage is not updating and the message “Not Charging” appears when the laptop is plugged in. I have checked the power cable and tried a different charger, but the issue persists. However, I am not sure how long this issue has been occurring because I have been using my laptop plugged in for the past two days and only noticed the issue about an hour ago. Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting steps or solutions to resolve this issue?

Additionally, I have observed that when I unplug the power cable, the battery percentage starts to decrease, but when I plug it back in, the percentage stops decreasing and remains static. This suggests that the laptop is not actually charging the battery even though the “Not Charging” message is displayed.
