I have a Lenovo P15s laptop and been using Fedora on it for a while. Upgraded to Fedora 42 a week or so ago and after that the laptop automatic logs out after about 5 min. System power saving is set to Never on both battery and plugged in. Anyone got an idea why this happens and how I can fix it?
It sounds like GNOME (or whatever DE you are running) is crashing. Sign back in and check the logs with something like sudo journalctl --since=-5min.

Seems like I forgot to include some basic information…
I’m using xfce and I’m logged out after about 5 minutes of inactivity. If I’m using the pc all is good. Today I was also logged out while watcing a Youtube video. But if I use the mouse or keyboard I’m not logged out.
It sounds like you are talking about the lock screen. There should be setting to disable that somewhere, but I’m not familiar with Xfce.
