Are CPU chipset drivers upgraded in Fedora?

Fedora version : Workstation 34

This may be a silly question.

The following Youtube video gives you the things you need to do after you build a PC using AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs (the latest one as of today).

But, in the AMD website, I don’t see a driver for the chipset (X570 in this case) for Linux.

So, are Intel and AMD chipset driver updates included in Fedora Linux ?
i.e. Will the chipset drivers get updated when I run

dnf upgrade

?
Or Intel/AMD driver developers provide the upgrades to the Linux vanilla kernel ?

It’s not a silly question – it’s very different from what people are used to on Windows. The answer is yes: updated drivers come with kernel and graphics subsystem updates.

Some non-free drivers like Nvidia GPU drivers need to be manually installed and configured, especially if you have Secure Boot enabled. You can see more here: Automatically sign NVidia Kernel module in Fedora 38 - Monosoul's Dev Blog
