So, heads up, this is running on a bit of odd hardware: A Getac F110 Tablet. It’s still x86, but I’ve had issues with it before.
So, after updating to F39, I couldn’t login at all through Gnome; entering my password would just drop me back into the login screen. After getting a terminal shell, it looks like gnome is crashing:

is a notice of the segfault in libglib
.
