Running F43 Workstation. Installed Brave Flatpak via Software. Cannot set it as a default web browser, and all http links return an error that no app is available to open them.
com.brave.Browser.desktop is present in ~/.local/share/applications, and the xdg commands indicate that it is recognized in some fashion? See screenshot.
How do I get my com.brave.Browser.desktop file recognized as a web browser?
I consistently run into more problems with the native RPM version than flatpak…
I fixed it though, apparently my ~/.config/mimeapps.list was a folder when it should’ve been a file. So I turned it back into a file and added the appropriate association line and now it works again.
