I’ve got a strange problem with the WIFI connection.
There is only one wireless network connection where I can’t connect into. When I switch on the same notebook to Windows it works fine. Back to Fedora and it doesn’t connect. There isn’t abny blacklist on the router.
But… a few months ago I’ve tried to configure Internet from a SIM card on my ThinkPad laptop and I’ve installed many different drivers. Maybe I’ve broken something.
I’m wondering… Is there any way to reset/clear every settings connected with wi-fi and bring it back, as it was at the beginning without reinstall Fedora ?
No, the snap does not show these installations either. Maybe the other way…
Do you know how to clear ALL network setting ? From terminal ? (I’ve done many times Settings/Wi-Fi/Known Wi-Fi Networks/Forget, but maybe not all settings are removed)
You can check any connection both wired or saved wifi connection on /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/ directories. Then delete the files named like wifi SID.
Maybe you could also then try to reinstall NetworkManager with sudo dnf reinstall NetworkManager.
I turned on the 5GHz network and it works now. But not with 2.4GHz. All right. I don’t know why 2.4 doesn’t work, your suggestions unfortunately didn’t help.
different SID’s and passwords for 2.4 / 5GHz wifi ?
//Yes
your router offers channel > 11 e.g. “13”, but your box/laptop can’t see channel 13, maybe cause of wrong regdomain setting (in linux) ?
// Router has channel 6, my regdomain is ok (i guess)
