Wifi logo dissapeared on Fedora 38

I’m new to linux and don’t know much. Install went well and wifi was fine for a few days. Today the wifi icon in the top right vanished. It comes back when I plug in an external wifi adapter, and vanishes again when I remove it. I would prefer to use the wifi system built into my mobo. Please help me troubleshoot this.

Update: Removing my GPU gets the wifi functioning as normal. When the GPU is put back in, wifi function is lost. Any idea why that is?

What’s your wireless adapter? You can look in lspci. Does it appear there?

Is the Wi-Fi panel also missing in Settings?

If so, try booting with an older kernel at the GRUB menu.

lspci returns this as the adapter
0c:00.0 Network controller: MEDIATEK Corp. MT7922 802.11ax PCI Express Wireless Network Adapter

Yes wifi is missing from settings as well, but reappears when I plug in the external adapter.

Will try rebooting into an older kernel.
Update: Rebooted computer and chose older version on GRUB menu, but the screen just goes black.

Installed inxi from reddit post and it shows driver as N/A
